The Detroit Pistons have declined their $19 million option on Evan Fournier, which will make him an unrestricted free agent.
The Pistons will possess up to $50 million in cap space. Trajan Langdon plans on utilizing the cap space to take on contracts and future draft assets from other teams looking to clear salary.
Fournier, who is represented by Bouna Ndiaye, appeared in 29 games with the Pistons and averaged 7.2 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 18.7 minutes.
